There are currently discussions taking place between Chelsea and RB Leipzig about whether the Frenchman would sign in the summer or January, with the latter currently looking more likely.
In the meantime, Chelsea manager Graham Potter has listed four things his team needs to accomplish throughout the World Cup break in order to turn things around.
Chelsea, in Potter’s opinion, has to restart, regroup, reenergize, and reset.
Regarding the World Cup break, Potter stated, “I think it would be useful.”
We won’t have a lot of players to work with because they will be away, but we all need a change of scenery, so that will be beneficial.
“We must employ it in that way. In that sense, we must see it as constructive. There are still many games still to play, and there is still a lot of football to be played, so we need to start over.
