Despite interest from Liverpool, Manchester City, and Barcelona, the Denmark Under-21 international sees Chelsea as his dream club. Dorgu, labeled as a unique talent, has a strong start to the 2023/24 season, registering one assist in six appearances for Lecce across all competitions. He has shown his prowess in Lecce’s backline, winning around 1.2 challenges per match in Serie A. Primarily a left-back, Dorgu has also been a threat offensively, executing seven shot-creating actions in his time on the field.
It’s important to note that Chelsea already have strong left-back options, including Ben Chilwell, Ian Maatsen, and Marc Cucurella. Whether Chelsea is actively pursuing Dorgu or if he has expressed his ambition to join Chelsea at a later stage of his career remains unclear.
