If the Spanish club decides to sell the two Barcelona players, Chelsea is allegedly prepared to finalize their signing.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!According to Sky Sports, the Blues are willing to expand their roster by bringing in Frenkie de Jong and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The La Liga team added a lot of new players during the current window, and they are now eager to let certain players go.
Manchester United has been after De Jong all summer, but the midfielder is apparently not interested in leaving, and Chelsea is now poised to match the Red Devils’ £72 million bid for the Dutchman.
While Aubameyang only left Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal in January, the addition of Robert Lewandowski has raised questions about his future.
This summer, the Blues have already signed Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, and Carney Chukwuemeka. They are also optimistic that Wesley Fofana will be added.
Although it is not yet known if the players themselves are prepared to do so, it is thought that Barcelona will permit both Aubameyang and De Jong to depart.
De Jong is allegedly owed £17 million in deferred salaries by his present employers, but he refuses to go without getting paid, according to the story.
While all is going on, Barcelona is hoping that the Dutch international would consent to a salary cut and a £6 million settlement for his unpaid earnings.
