Surprising media speculations claim that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are in talks to trade for Serge Gnabry.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The former West Brom and Arsenal winger, 26, has become one of the most sought-after players in Europe since leaving the Premier League with 59 goals and 44 assists for Bayern.
They have won four Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals, and the Champions League throughout that period thanks to this, too. Nevertheless, there is a lot of speculation surrounding his future despite the fact that he has developed into a key part of the club’s system.
In spite of all the negative press, he managed to score 14 goals and provide five assists during the most recent Bundesliga campaign. But it seems like his time at the club is coming to an end.
Gnabry is said to be considering his options with only one year left on his contract at the Allianz Arena. He is aware that, should he finally decide to leave the club, he has a few options to choose from.
Now, the Telegraph is reporting that Chelsea has spoken to Bayern Munich about a potential deal for Gnabry.
The squad wanted Gnabry to stay, but Hasan Salihamidzic, the head of transfers at Bayern Munich, wouldn’t rule out moving him.
Fabrizio Romano quoted Salihamidzic as saying, “We genuinely want to keep him.” I’m hoping he decides on Bayern.
“We can come up with a solution that pleases everyone if a player doesn’t want to make a decision for the club.”
