El Nacional believes that Chelsea is considering making an extravagant bid for Eden Hazard, a former superstar striker for Chelsea whose future at Real Madrid is uncertain.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Hazard, 31, has struggled since his £103.5 million transfer from Chelsea to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2019.
For most of his tenure at Madrid, the Belgian star has struggled with injuries. He has missed more than 65 games and been sidelined for more than 550 days since joining Los Blancos. The striker has only made 66 appearances in all competitions in his three years with Madrid, contributing 10 assists and scoring six goals.
The aforementioned source claims that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has run out of ideas regarding how to utilize Hazard to the fullest.
He is acclimating to life at the Bernabeu much too slowly. He is only moving down on the food chain while others like Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo climb to prominence.
Currently, there is talk that Chelsea would pursue its former star, who was a huge success at Stamford Bridge from 2012 to 2019.
During those seven years in west London, Hazard rose to become one of the most well-known forwards in Europe. The Belgian made 351 appearances with the Blues and scored 110 goals and provided 92 assists, helping the team win two Premier League championships (2015 and 2017).
Madrid is apparently keen to discuss the exit of its former player, and the Blues are prepared to make a “downward” offer for him.
Hazard still has two years left on his Real Madrid contract, but he may have his sights set on a move back to Chelsea.
