Chelsea fans reply to Trevoh Chalobah’s performance against Nottingham Forest

This afternoon, Chelsea engaged in an exhilarating 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge. While the Blues are only playing for pride in the remaining games of the season, their performance today served as a reminder of why they are in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
During a miserable first half for the Chelsea crowd, Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi put the visitors in front. However, Raheem Sterling turned the contest on its head with a quick-fire brace at the start of the second half. Eventually, Awoniyi’s equalizing goal in the 62nd minute ensured that the teams finished level, with each taking a single league point. This point could be critical for Forest in their fight against relegation.
Many Chelsea supporters on social media praised Trevoh Chalobah for his performance against Forest. Chalobah, who is typically a center-back but is versatile and comfortable at full-back, started once again in the right-back position due to Reece James’ current injury. His highlight in Saturday’s game was the fantastic assist for Sterling’s first goal, where he did an excellent job of getting to the byline before his cross found his teammate unmarked in the penalty box.
While Chalobah usually goes about his business quietly and doesn’t attract much attention, he is a consistent and dependable performer at the back. It remains to be seen if he will be in Chelsea’s first-team squad when next season begins, but if he is content being a squad option, many would like him to stay.
