Chelsea fans disagree on Graham Potter move as Todd Boehly sent emergency Thomas Tuchel plea

As the west Londoners enter the World Cup outside of the European qualification spots, the head coach has come in for criticism from some parts of the club’s fanbase.
A few fans have started to question Potter’s capacity to steer the team into a new era, raising concerns about the 47-year-old. With Brighton, Liverpool, and Manchester United standing in the way of a top-four spot, Chelsea have lost their last five Premier League games and are sliding down the table.
However, despite the avalanche of criticism, an equal number of Blues supporters have praised Potter and placed the blame on Todd Boehly. The American businessman has come under fire for firing Thomas Tuchel and then plunging the newly appointed Chelsea manager into chaos.
In light of this, football.london has compiled some of the responses to the Chelsea manager and co-owner.

Additionally, one supporter tweeted Tuchel’s request to return to Chelsea. “Come back @TTuchelofficial,” said @CFCDUBois, tagging the former Blues manager directly.
Potter shed light on how the numerous injuries his team has sustained have contributed to a string of losing performances as the red mist continues to cover Chelsea supporters. In a statement to the media, the Blues manager said: “Not getting results is not pleasant. It’s that easy, but I need to consider why that is and the circumstances we have faced.
“It certainly hasn’t been simple. We’ve played a lot of games, and a few crucial player injuries have shaken us up. Today, you can see that they are once again absent.
“Just been through a really difficult moment. You face four of the teams that are performing at their peak in the Premier League, and that could be difficult for you. Even though we find it difficult to accept, we must strive to deal with it and move on.”
