Chelsea don’t meeting 24-year-old contract demands, he loves the club – journalist says
The player’s contract is still up for negotiation between Chelsea and Mason Mount.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Ben Jacobs stated on the Blues Brothers YouTube channel that there is still a discrepancy between Mount’s wants and what the club is ready to provide.
The 24-year-contract old’s expires in the summer of 2019, and there is still a lot of speculation regarding whether or not he will stay at Stamford Bridge beyond that.
As the chaos of the January transfer window unfolds, discussions with the board regarding signing the academy graduate for the long term have apparently come to an end.
Mason Mount needs to decide how he wants to proceed with Chelsea.
Chelsea will resume speaking with the England international after everything has settled and all the deals have been completed.
Despite the fact that recent conversations have not made much headway, they are hoping that his lifelong relationship with Cobham will make them simpler to organise.
“Renewing is preferred by Mount, but the conditions must be acceptable. Genuine interest from Liverpool exists for the summer, not right now, according to Jacobs.
Because Mount won’t be leaving in the next eight days, Chelsea can have a moment to unwind as the window closes. When they have a little more time and things have calmed down in February, they’ll pick it up.
“The renewal is expected to be the direction of travel, but based on the discussions thus far, we must admit that the terms that Mounts seek and the terms Chelsea have provided are comparatively far apart.
Chelsea feels confident that Mason Mount will always be in love with her.
For Mount, it would be more difficult to reject a freshly scribed contract than for most others in South West London.
He has been a Chelsea player since he was six years old, therefore he is a blue cat through and through.
But even the most devoted individuals can change their minds, whether voluntarily or as a result of outside forces.
