At just 20 years old, Kerkez has adapted impressively to the Premier League. In his first season in England, the Hungary international made 28 league appearances, starting 22 of those matches, for a Bournemouth side that conceded an average of 1.8 goals per game. His primary role was to provide defensive stability, reflecting the team’s average possession of just 44.1%.
