David Coote, fourth official
Dan Robathan is the Reserve Assistant Referee.
Paul Tierney (VAR)
Simon Bennett, Assistant VAR
Liverpool’s record in games refereed by Pawson is impressive, with the club losing only six of the 31 games the 43-year-old has overseen. The most recent of those defeats came against West Ham in November, and Klopp was dissatisfied with Pawson’s performance in that game.
Thomas Tuchel, who demanded fair officiating against Leeds United, has accepted that the FA Cup final referee would have a significant impact.
“You have to be spot on in these kind of matches, which have been so tight lately with decisions, sometimes red cards, sometimes a massive blunder,” he remarked.
“We came back at Stamford Bridge with a penalty, then we had to dig in with 10 men at Anfield.” So there are many different stories.”
