‘Amazing’ – Kante makes mockery of Chelsea injury record in Al-Ittihad shirt

Having battled almost 18 months of injury issues, Kante has made an impressive impact for Al-Ittihad. He has notably started eleven consecutive games and has been a consistent presence on the field, playing nearly every minute of Al-Ittihad’s season.
Comparatively, during his time at Chelsea, Kante participated in nine games and logged 685 minutes in the 2022-2023 season. In just the initial months of the Saudi Pro League, he has already surpassed his playing time from the entire last season, featuring in 11 games and accumulating 946 minutes on the pitch. Kante’s transition to Al-Ittihad has evidently provided him with more playing opportunities and a chance to showcase his skills.
