Chelsea are set to add another highly dangerous attacker to their ranks when Estevao Willian officially joins the club next year.
During the recent summer transfer window, Chelsea already bolstered their attacking options by bringing in Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix, and Pedro Neto. Alongside these signings, they agreed on a deal with Palmeiras for the exciting young talent Estevao Willian, who will add further depth to their forward line in 2025.
At just 17 years old, Estevao has already made his debut for Brazil’s senior team, and one of his impressive stats this season hints at the threat he could bring to Stamford Bridge. Former Chelsea player Angelo Gabriel recently described Estevao as a “phenomenon,” and his performances for Palmeiras back that up.
Estevao Willian’s Assist Record
While Chelsea fans have been impressed by Estevao’s goals for Palmeiras in the current Brazilian Serie A campaign, the young Brazilian has also been just as effective in creating opportunities for others.
According to WhoScored, Estevao has registered seven assists in just 21 league appearances this season, making him the top assist provider in the Brazilian league. His vision and playmaking ability are already drawing attention.
Estevao Willian’s Overall End Product
What makes Estevao even more remarkable is that, despite being only 17, his game already includes a high level of end product, something that’s not often seen in such a young player. In addition to his seven assists, Estevao has scored eight goals, meaning he has been directly involved in 15 goals in just 21 appearances.
While this form may not immediately transfer to the Premier League, it certainly signals a bright future for the winger.
In the meantime, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will rely on the talents of Sancho, Felix, Neto, and others to lead the attack. Sancho, who trained under Maresca this week, may even be set to make his Chelsea debut next Saturday when the Blues face Bournemouth.
