According to Ben Jacobs, Cristiano Ronaldo’s representative will make Chelsea an additional offer for the player.

After videos of Ronaldo’s shocking chat with Piers Morgan were released on Sunday, it is almost inevitable that he will no longer play for Manchester United.
The assailant appeared to criticise his present employers, claiming that manager Erik ten Haag lacks respect and that he felt “betrayed” by the owners.
Ronaldo’s outburst shook the social media globe, much like Romelu Lukaku’s candid interview with Italian media did the previous year.
But unlike Lukaku, CR7 is unlikely to get another chance.
Ronaldo eluding capture in Manchester
The 37-year-old Red Devil seemed to be beyond redemption.
Having just started four Premier League games under Ten Haag, his time at Old Trafford was already precariously balanced.
The agonising debate with Morgan has now ignited the last remaining straw.
It’s clear that he wants to leave Manchester, but who would want to take him?
First off, few clubs could realistically afford to sign the Portugal international even if they wanted to.
Few would even consider spending such money on a player who is arguably past the point of no return, even though he is reportedly making £515k a week at United.
Chelsea is one of the few with the means.
Who’s to say Todd Boehly’s bank wouldn’t do it again for Ronaldo considering how many fresh recruits it has already welcomed.
Thomas Tuchel reportedly had reservations about Boehly’s plan to bring in the five-time Ballon d’Or winner in the summer.
Now that Tuchel is no longer an option, perhaps the Chelsea manager will make another attempt to sign Ronaldo.
