1. Kounde will be the Boehly era’s first signing.

However, since Three announced their intention to withdraw their partnership with Chelsea on the day Abramovich was sanctioned in March, fans’ attitudes against the mobile business have been overwhelmingly hostile.
The switch from Fly Emirates to Samsung took only two seasons when Abramovich purchased Chelsea in 2003. With Three’s current contract slated to expire in 2023, a new pact would be a good way to signify a new direction.
3. Mason Mount and Reece James were given new contracts.
Even before Raine Group declared Boehly’s consortium as the preferred bidder, Mason Mount and Reece James were said to be in line for new contracts.
Securing the futures of two homegrown jewels, perhaps the club’s most valued and consistent players since 2019, would be a big statement of their importance in Chelsea’s present and future. And, given their spectacular ascent, it’s only natural that they become among of the team’s biggest earners, with rumours circulating that Mount’s weekly income may be doubled with a new contract once the takeover is finally completed.
