Noel Whelan stated that it “wouldn’t surprise” him if Raheem Sterling scored 20 league goals for Chelsea.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Sterling struggled to keep his position in Man City’s starting lineup last season, but he ended up scoring 17 goals and dishing out nine assists in all competitions, thus the organization has opted to let him go.
Sterling has agreed to a massive five-year contract earning £300,000 per week at Stamford Bridge in exchange for Chelsea paying him an estimated £50 million transfer fee.
In addition, Whelan has stated that he would not be shocked if Sterling scored 20 goals a season for the Blues if he joins the team. “His goal scoring and assist totals have been priceless for Man City during his time there,” said Whelan. It has had a significant role in their historical dominance.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he scored 20 goals; he still has so much to contribute.”
He’ll blend in well at Chelsea because, as at Man City, there are many international players all around him.
“I believe he will succeed without a doubt. He will be really thrilling to watch for Chelsea supporters, and I anticipate him to have an instant effect.
