Raheem Sterling, a winger for Chelsea and Manchester City, has reportedly achieved a personal settlement, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The English international’s fee has “already been discussed,” and Blues owner Todd Boehly is putting together a “new offer,” claims the Italian author:
Since Sterling is said to be ready to have his future settled by the time he returns from vacation at the beginning of next month, Chelsea is going forward with its plans to acquire his services with an enhanced offer.
The original bid from the London club, valued at €25 million/£21 million plus add-ons, was allegedly turned down, according to Romano. It has been said that in order to achieve a deal with City, they will need to increase their offer to at least £40 million to £45 million.
Chelsea are in a great position to sign Sterling, and there is now hope that the 27-year-old would sign with Stamford Bridge. Rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are likely out of the running.
