Timo Werner, a player for Chelsea, has apparently surfaced as an Arsenal transfer target this summer.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Arsenal, a Premier League and London rival, have reportedly set their sights on Chelsea’s 26-year-old attacker, according to Defensa Central.
According to the report, along with Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid, Werner is being watched by both Juventus and the Gunners.
This follows a previous assertion that Chelsea could let him leave during the current transfer window if they can sign a fresh attacker to Stamford Bridge.
Additionally, a loan rather than a permanent takeover is said to be Real Madrid’s preferred option in regards to the Germany international.
Timo Werner is a target for Arsenal
This summer’s move would be pretty extraordinary.
Werner, who started just 15 Premier League games last season, has occasionally struggled while wearing the Chelsea uniform.
With the type of quickness and movement that defenders despise, the former RB Leipzig attacker has so many fantastic qualities to his game. Unfortunately, while representing the Blues, his finishing has been far too erratic.
Hearing rumors of a probable departure is not particularly shocking, but moving across London to live with neighbors would be.
Several attacking players, like Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Jesus, already make up Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team.
Watch to see if anything more specific materializes in the upcoming weeks.
