Chelsea sponsors Trivago appear to have confirmed the Todd Boehly-led acquisition is on track, despite reports that it may have hit a snag.

In a statement, Chelsea sponsors said, “Welcome to the Chelsea FC family, Todd Boehly!”
While companies like Three and Hyundai distanced themselves from Chelsea during its punishment period, Trivago stayed behind the team.
“The uncertainty around the present ownership position of Chelsea FC has been hard,” Trivago said in a statement posted in March.
“Going forward, we want to continue to support the club, the supporters, and the community, as well as the vital work that the Chelsea Foundation performs to aid those in need.”
“We are looking forward to a quick transfer of ownership and wish to assist the club in this process.”
Trivago’s congratulations to Todd Boehly indicate that they have inside information that a deal will be finalized before the May 31st deadline.
