Despite Chelsea’s extensive business in the transfer window, including signings like Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, they have faced injury problems early in the season, prompting them to look for an attacking player versatile enough to feature across the frontline. Ansu Fati has been linked with this role, and it’s suggested that he could be available from Barcelona for around £34 million.
Today, there was reportedly a meeting between Bori Fati (Ansu Fati’s agent) and Jorge Mendes in Seville. Ansu Fati has reconsidered and is now open to leaving Barcelona. He has offers from Premier League clubs, specifically Chelsea and Tottenham. According to Condis, tomorrow is a decisive day for Fati’s future, and as of today, there is a 75% chance that he will leave Barcelona.
While Fati is under consideration, Chelsea reportedly has a list of around ten players they are considering for their final signing, so it remains to be seen if Fati is their preferred option.
