“Don’t be Surprise if you see him playing tomorrow against” – Poch ready to surprise Chelsea player for the first time against Wimbledon
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has addressed the situation of Marc Cucurella amid rumors of a potential move to Manchester United before the transfer deadline. When asked about Cucurella’s situation, Pochettino chose to remain coy but hinted that the Spain international may play in Chelsea’s Carabao Cup match against Wimbledon.
Pochettino stated, “I cannot talk about rumors. At the moment, nothing changed. He is for tomorrow going to be available to play.”
Cucurella has been an unused substitute in each of Chelsea’s three Premier League matches this season. If he is overlooked for the League Cup match against Wimbledon, it would suggest that Pochettino does not rate him highly, and Cucurella may need to consider leaving Stamford Bridge, especially if Manchester United expresses further interest.
The 25-year-old Spanish international, who arrived at Chelsea for £63 million and earns £175,000-a-week, has yet to secure a prominent role in the squad under Pochettino. If his playing time remains limited, a move to another club may be in his best interest.
