Romeo Lavia sends six word message to Moises Caicedo on Instagram after his Chelsea debut
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Following Moises Caicedo’s difficult debut for Chelsea in their 3-1 defeat to West Ham, his teammate Romeo Lavia took to Instagram to offer support. Lavia, who also joined Chelsea this summer, commented on Caicedo’s Instagram post with the message “in this all together mi hermano” (we are all in this together, my brother).
Other Chelsea players, including Enzo Fernandez, Reece James, and Carney Chukwuemeka, also expressed their support in the comments section of Caicedo’s post. Fernandez wrote, “This is not how it starts, but how it ends. Let’s go all out brother. We will all work together,” while James and Chukwuemeka simply posted the word “together.”
Caicedo, who recently made a British record £115 million move from Brighton to Chelsea, had a challenging debut, including conceding a penalty shortly after coming on as a substitute. His performance was affected by a disrupted pre-season due to transfer speculation and a desire to leave Brighton.
The support from his teammates is a positive sign of the camaraderie within the Chelsea squad and demonstrates their commitment to helping young players like Caicedo settle and succeed at the club. Chelsea will likely be cautious in managing the development and adaptation of their young talents to the Premier League, especially considering the mental aspects of transitioning to a new club and league.
