According to a report from TEAMtalk, the 24-year-old defender has received offers of interest from several clubs, including Premier League sides West Ham, Everton, and Crystal Palace, as well as European clubs like Monaco, Lyon, Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Roma, and Napoli.
While Chelsea would prefer to sell Chalobah, they might also consider agreeing to a loan deal with an option to buy. Despite his consistent performances during pre-season and in previous first-team appearances, Chelsea has decided that it’s time for Chalobah to move on.
Chalobah’s versatility as a ball-playing center-back who can also play as a right-back makes him an attractive prospect for several clubs. However, given the competition for places in the center-back position at Chelsea, he may need regular playing time to further develop his career, especially if he has ambitions of breaking into the England national team.
It’s worth noting that Chelsea has reportedly set a £40 million asking price for Chalobah, indicating the club’s valuation of the player in the current market.
