‘New transfer up’ player set to takes medical with Manchester United
Andre Onana has reportedly completed the standard pre-transfer medicals with Manchester United ahead of his move from Inter. The 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper, who joined Inter on a free transfer last year, is set to move to Old Trafford in a deal worth €51 million plus €4 million in add-ons. He is expected to sign a five-year contract with a reported salary of around €7 million. The sale of Onana represents a significant capital gain for Inter, which will help them with their financial situation under UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations. Onana underwent his medicals at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground, and an official announcement of the transfer is expected soon. Last season, Onana kept 19 clean sheets and conceded 36 goals in 41 total appearances for Inter.
