Ahead of Chelsea’s match against Leicester City, left-back Ben Chilwell ruffled some feathers among Foxes fans, who greeted him with boos.
Chilwell left Leicester for Stamford Bridge two-and-a-half years ago and faced his former team in the FA Cup final less than a year later, losing to them after a VAR ruling.
During the recent match, Leicester fans chanted at Chilwell, asking if he cried at Wembley. However, the 26-year-old had the last laugh when he scored an excellent volley, giving Chelsea the lead.
Despite his departure from Leicester, Chilwell has expressed gratitude for his time there and the people he worked with, but saw Chelsea as a new challenge and an opportunity to push himself to the next level.
