Chelsea has contacted a 51 year old manager regarding the potential replacement of Graham Potter
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! It has been reported that Chelsea are looking to fill the vacancy left by Graham Potter with the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino, the former manager of Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain.
Potter’s job is in serious danger due to a series of poor performances that have relegated the team to 10th place in the Premier League and brought them closer to the relegation zone than the Champions League spots.
Potter has experienced difficulty at Chelsea since taking charge, with only one victory registered in 11 matches and six losses during the same span.
According to Football Insider via The Hard Tackle, Chelsea have already made contact with 51 year old Pochettino to replace Potter as Chelsea manager.
Discussions between Pochettino and Chelsea have not advanced beyond the exploratory at this point, but it firmly indicates that Potter has just a few matches at most to turn things around.
No definitive talks have yet transpired between Pochettino and Chelsea, thus indicating that Potter has a limited window in which to make a positive impact.
Potter succeeded Thomas Tuchel in the Chelsea managerial role in September 2020 and is contracted to stay in the position until 2027.
