Chelsea struggled to get going against Fulham at Stamford Bridge as the Blues were kept to a draw.
Welcome to football.london’s live coverage of Graham Potter’s post-0-0 draw between Chelsea and Fulham press conference.
In the wake of leaving Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of his Champions League and matchday roster, the Blues manager will face a lot of questions. Kai Havertz struggled up front, but there was a lot to discuss from the game as well.
Potter gave Enzo Fernandez his professional debut, and Mykhailo Murdyk started for Chelsea against the Cottagers as the 47-year-old sought to showcase his fresh talent as soon as possible. However, Mudryk was changed before the start of the second half, therefore Noni Madueke was on the field.
From the sidelines, David Datro Fofana also made an appearance. After circling Bernd Leno, he had a wonderful chance to take the lead, but the ensuing shot was blocked. Ultimately, the Blues were held to a discouraging tie, and Potter will discuss it after the game.
Below, keep up with all of the news conference updates:
Mudryk latest
Potter has told broadcasters that the winger had a heavy cold.
Player ratings
Not an outstanding overall display but some good signs from Fernandez and Badiashile.
Mudryk decision explained
Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk was thrown into his first start for his new club on Friday night against west London rivals Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
However, he was substituted at half-time, with some fears over injury, but it seems as though it wasn’t the issue for the winger.
