If Chelsea doesn’t make the Champions League next season, attacker Kai Havertz may want to quit the club in the summer, claims Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany.

According to the article, Havertz, who cost the Blues £72 million in 2020 when he transferred from Bayer Leverkusen, needs to play in the Champions League next season.

According to reports, Chelsea is also willing to let Havertz leave the team in the summer if a bid of €60 million (£53 million) is made.

“Havertz: His future at Chelsea is doubtful,” tweeted Plettenberg. Summertime could see him leave. May or June could be crucial months.
