Marcos Alonso was substituted out at halftime against Wolves by Thomas Tuchel, according to sources, following a heated altercation at halftime.
“Marcos was not hurt,” Tuchel stated. “It was just a decision we made.”
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano, a credible writer, claims that Alonso will depart Chelsea at the conclusion of the season.
“I see Alonso departing this summer,” he said in a post.
Emerson Palmieri, a Chelsea loanee, will return to the club at the end of the season, according to the transfer expert.
In January, Lyon declined to release Emerson to Chelsea, and sources claim that the French giants are no longer interested in a permanent trade.
“Emerson Palmieri will leave OL at the end of the current season and will return to Chelsea — he’s definitely not going to stay at OL next year,” Romano tweeted.
“Many teams are interested in signing him, including Juventus – but because to the Chelsea issue, nothing has progressed.”
Chelsea may not need to buy a replacement for Alonso now that Emerson has returned, since Ben Chilwell is poised to return from a long-term injury.
