“Your questions are stupid” – Chelsea manager Graham Potter hits back
Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, has criticized the media for its inane inquiries.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! Before Chelsea’s FA Cup match against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium, Potter was asked about his laid-back demeanor and whether he gets upset by outcomes.
He responded, “I hide it well. You see me here, but this isn’t always who I am.
It’s not like I’m just some robot talking to this tin can. Of course, there are times when you get angry and frustrated. Of course, bad things do happen.
“But my duty when it comes to you (the media) is to speak in the most dignified manner I can, even though some of your questions are stupid,” he continued.
But because I represent a fantastic football club and I have a job to do, I must respond to them as politely and as effectively as I can.
“I have to come here and represent Chelsea the best way I can, even if I’m p**** after the game.”
After that, Potter was asked if Chelsea has been the subject of excessive criticism.
He said, ‘I don’t know. I don’t consume news sources. I don’t use social media.
“I am not naive to think that there won’t be criticism and negativity when you achieve the results that we have; otherwise, it would be strange of me to believe that.
“And once more, I don’t think of myself as some egotistical guru who always gets things right and has all the answers; of course, that is not the case.
But there are also some difficulties we must overcome. In the Premier League, there are several margins that are challenging.
“With the new owners at Chelsea, there has been a significant shift. Injury issues make it difficult to stay stable.
But isn’t it kind of blah, blah, blah? People demand to know what Graham is talking about and want to see results. We must triumph.
