Welcome to Chelsea deal seal : 21-year-old star set for medical on monday
The Athletic reports that Chelsea and AS Monaco have reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Benoit Badiashile.

Badiashile and Chelsea have also come to a personal understanding, and the center-back is now prepared to go for London for his Chelsea physical.
After failing to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Josko Gvardiol last summer, Chelsea, who had been interested in acquiring a left-sided center-back, turned its attention to Badiashile.
According to reports, Chelsea was also interested in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 23-year-old Evan N’Dicka and Bayer Leverkusen’s 20-year-old Piero Hincapie.
The 6ft 4in defender Badiashile has impressed in France by often taking the ball off opponents without having to go to the ground. He is also very quick and good on the ball.
In the last four and a half seasons, he has played 135 times for Monaco and earned two French caps.
