Aubameyang receives warning ahead of Chelsea vs Arsenal clash
Prior to this weekend’s match between Chelsea and Arsenal, former Aston Villa captain Gabriel Agbonlahor has cautioned Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Chelsea that he might come to regret his remarks against Arsenal.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! On talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said: “I was a little perplexed when I saw it. I am taken aback.
“BT Sport would have been humming if they had managed to get him to speak those things because it gives the game more spice and, of course, draws in more viewers. Strangely enough, I don’t believe you need to do that.
“I imagine the Chelsea media officer said, “Do you want to do this? ” and he most likely responded “yes.” No, I would never have done it.
“Since these factors appear to be working against you. I wouldn’t be surprised if he came on and missed a clear shot, and Arsenal went on to win, leaving you wondering why you had to do that.
“He should respect Arsenal, even though he and Arteta had a falling out because the supporters adored Aubameyang. Therefore, I believe it to be a foolish action that he may come to regret.
Agbonlahor is confident that Arteta will utilize Aubameyang’s speech to inspire his team. “Watch that, he said he’s returning and he’s going to have a big game against you, so forget about being buddies with him, you stop him,” he continued, referring to Arteta’s defenders, Gabriel and William Saliba.
Do whatever it takes to stop Aubameyang, including “if you have to kick him, kick him.”
What actually said by Aubameyang?
Aubameyang stated, “Arsenal, nothing personal,” in a BT Sport commercial for this weekend’s match between Chelsea and Arsenal. I’m back, I’m sick, and I’m prepared.
