After leading Chelsea to the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup titles, the German had become a hero at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel used to Twitter to express his grief on his dismissal from Chelsea.
“This is one of the most painful statements I have ever had to make – and it is one that I hoped I would not have to do for many years,” he said on Twitter. I’m heartbroken that my time at Chelsea is coming to an end.
“This is a club where I felt both professionally and emotionally at ease.” Thank you so much to everyone on the staff, the players, and the fans for making me feel so welcome from the start.
“The pleasure and excitement I had in helping the squad win the Champions League and the Club World Cup will be with me for the rest of my life.”
“I am honoured to have been a part of this club’s history, and the last 19 months will have a particular place in my heart.”
Chelsea supporters were also moved by the comments from a manager who was well-liked at Stamford Bridge.
