Raheem Sterling helped Chelsea win three points by scoring two goals in the second half.
Thomas Tuchel said he changed the team makeup to meet the former Manchester City star and improves with Sterling’s performance and goals.
Tuchel said of Sterling’s impact: “It was essential because we need him to score. He will succeed because that is what he does. He wanted to score more goals and have more opportunities, so I could see he was not content.
We adopted a more aggressive playing style today, but when we lost a guy, we needed him to step up, which he did. Today’s goals were important because they gave us confidence.
