The second half of a charity friendly between Manchester City and Barcelona was when Aubameyang was replaced, and journalist Samuel Marsden tweeted a video that appeared to show him waving goodbye to the Barca supporters.
Aubameyang appeared to be bidding farewell during the friendly on Wednesday night at the Nou Camp.
Chelsea’s front three of Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling, and Mason Mount have yet to score a goal after three games this season, which has prompted the club to make an urgent effort to buy Aubameyang.
