Romano posted on social media that Chelsea and Chicago Fire have verbally agreed to a transfer for Gabriel Slonina following direct negotiations between Todd Boehly and the MLS team. He would remain in Chicago on loan as part of a $10 million agreement with add-ons. #CFC
Chelsea is anticipated to make a formal proposal this week in order to close the transaction.
