According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Manchester City are getting ready to have new talks about moving Raheem Sterling to Chelsea.

In order to encourage the player to swap teams, Thomas Tuchel reportedly personally phoned the player.
While we wait for Sterling and both teams to finalize the agreement, Romano also believes that constructive conversations were place on Friday.
After agreeing to a £60 million price with Leeds, Chelsea has also been in contact with Raphinha, but the Brazilian has said he would wait to see whether Barcelona and Chelsea can reach a deal. The 27-year-old Sterling is now set to be the first significant men’s signing of the Todd Boehly era as a result of that delay.
In 320 games for both Liverpool and Manchester City, Sterling has scored 109 Premier League goals, going over ten in each of the previous five seasons. The winger has outscored Chelsea’s leading scorer in each of those seasons.
The signing of the England international would likely only be the start of a hectic transfer window for Chelsea, with negotiations also ongoing for Jules Kounde, Nathan Ake, and Matthijs de Ligt as Boehly looks to bolster his defense in time for the next campaign.
