“I think we make..” – Former Chelsea player uses one word to describe Estevao Willian after his senior Brazil debut
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Estevao Willian, who is set to join Chelsea in 2025, will certainly remember this international break for years to come.
At just 17, Estevao made his senior debut for Brazil in a 1-0 victory over Ecuador on Saturday morning. The Palmeiras winger came off the bench in the second half to help secure the win.
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo has now taken Estevao under his wing, guiding the young talent as he begins what looks to be a promising career.
Angelo Gabriel Praises Estevao Willian After Brazil Debut
Angelo Gabriel, who could have been Estevao’s teammate at Chelsea next year, left the club earlier this week to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr. However, despite the change in their club careers, Angelo still made time to congratulate Estevao, his fellow Brazilian.
After Estevao celebrated his Brazil debut on Instagram, Angelo commented, calling him a “phenomenon.” It’s easy to understand why Estevao got emotional before stepping onto the pitch—making your national team debut at such a young age is a massive achievement.
Estevao Willian: A Rising Phenomenon
Even though Estevao is only a teenager, Angelo’s assessment might not be far off. Many in the football world have already labeled Estevao a “generational talent.” His current form for Palmeiras is exceptional—he’s scored eight goals and provided seven assists in just 21 games this season in the Brazilian league.
His productivity is impressive, especially for someone so young. It’s not just about his technical skill and flair; Estevao has shown a remarkable ability to deliver results.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that this form will immediately translate to the Premier League. Estevao may even need a loan spell or two before becoming a regular at Stamford Bridge. But given his current trajectory, it’s likely that Chelsea will eventually have a star player on their hands, possibly as soon as next season.
