Interestingly, despite his outstanding performances, Cole Palmer’s current market value is significantly lower than Musiala’s. According to Transfermarkt, Palmer is valued at £67m—£42.5m less than the former Chelsea academy player.
However, when comparing their performances, Palmer comes out ahead in several metrics. He averages more goals and assists per 90 minutes, as well as having higher expected goals and assists. His creativity and shot volume also set him apart. On the other hand, Musiala excels in successful take-ons and progressive carries, showing his superior ability to move the ball forward. He’s also slightly more clinical, with a shot-to-goal ratio of 0.13 compared to Palmer’s 0.12.

Though Musiala is currently more valuable, partly due to his younger age and longer time in the spotlight, Palmer’s performances suggest his value could continue to rise.
