The appointment of a new chief executive will be one of Todd Boehly’s first tasks at the club.
Guy Laurence is in charge of operating the club’s day-to-day operations in west London, and the Daily Mail reports that Lawrence had previously chosen to quit the club before the ownership change, but stayed on to guarantee a seamless transition.
Lawrence joined the club in February 2018, and since then, the club’s turnover has increased by 20%, from £360 million to £435 million, and despite a two-year pandemic, the club has raked in tremendous profits.
