Rice is regarded as one of the top defensive midfielders in the Premier League, with West Ham placing a £150 million valuation on him.
Rice told Sky Sports in response to West Ham’s alleged value, “I feel like performing well comes with speculation.”
“I’ve had two or three great seasons at West Ham, and elite teams from all across the country are always keeping an eye on me.” It’s not just me; every gamer experiences the same thing.
“It’s vital not to get carried away with that,” says the author. We’ve had a terrific season with West Ham, and I’ve had to play in some huge games, so I’ve felt like my focus has always been there. I’d get carried away if I thought about other things, and it wouldn’t be fair to the team or the manager.
“Even with the figures that are discussed, I can’t help but speculate.” I’m constantly chastised for it on social media, but I can’t stop myself. I can contribute by getting on the field and giving it my all.
“They [West Ham teammates] always get on my nerves.” To be honest, it’s ridiculous to talk about, so I just try to tune everything out and focus on what I do best, which is play football.”
