£150,000 per week Chelsea star finally agrees to leave Chelsea
After making it to the Round of 16 of the Qatar World Cup, the USMNT put on a strong display that both supporters and the US Soccer Federation can be proud of.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! Before overcoming Iran to get to the knockout round, Team USA earned draws against both England and Wales. The US appeared to be the stronger team for significant stretches of all three games, and by all rights should have come away with two victories, but for a dreadful penalty that allowed Wales to level the game.
Holland absolutely overpowered the United States, and they were sent packing. A number of players have put on impressive performances recently, which has piqued the curiosity of some of the top teams in Europe ahead of the January transfer window.

Christian Pulisic of Chelsea is the only person with whom to begin.
Over the past 18 months, the attacker has fought to get starting time while playing on Chelsea’s periphery.
The 24-year-experience old’s in London playing for several different managers has not been beneficial. After a bright beginning to his Chelsea career under Frank Lampard’s management of the Blues, things took a turn for the worst under Thomas Tuchel and, more recently, Graham Potter.
Since the summer, there have been rumours that Pulisic would leave Chelsea due to his unhappiness over not getting enough playing time with the World Cup coming up soon. He chose to remain where he was.
In Qatar, Pulisic played an important part for the USA, demonstrating that he is too talented to spend much of his time on the bench as a substitute.
He provided the first assist for Timothy Weah’s goal against Wales while serving as the main centre of the American offence.
He excelled and outplayed both of England’s starting wingers, Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount, during the match against England. Both of whom Chelsea consistently chooses above him.
With only one and a half seasons remaining on his Chelsea deal, the No. 10 American’s future is extremely uncertain. Is Chelsea going to cash in before his transfer worth plummets much further as his contract’s expiry date draws near?
Pulisic has expressed interest in playing for Manchester United, Newcastle, Arsenal, and a number of Serie A teams. If his playing time does not increase after the World Cup, Pulisic might be interested in the possibility to get more minutes elsewhere.
Weston McKennie, a midfielder for Juventus, is the next well-known American who might be considering relocating soon.
The 24-year-playing old’s time has decreased, and the team is apparently willing to sell him.
Football Italia reports that The Old Lady have set an asking price of about $31 million but may be open to accepting less.
Since being bought by Juventus from German club FC Schalke for over $20 million, McKennie’s play has significantly improved.
Rather than just acting as a ball-winning midfielder, he is now being used in a position that allows him to rush forward and attack.
According to Calciomercato, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham were rumoured to have inquired about McKennie last summer and are still keeping tabs on him. His representatives have also reportedly spoken with Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa.
